New Staff Training (NST) is our 10-month training program whereby we train our fulltime missionaries. It is meant to bring about life change as the New Staff walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. The training curriculum is designed to prepare the New Staff to grow in their heart for God and secondly for effectiveness in movement building. Therefore, the New staff participate in the classroom training to shape their attitudes, knowledge and skills; field ministry where the learning is applied, either in a campus/college setting, church ministry, digital space or among the leaders, and they meet regularly with their Coach, for modelling the ministry, encouragement and giving/receiving feedback.
The classes are conducted in our offices at Hurlingham, but the field experience spread out from universities and colleges in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisii, Isiolo, to Church Partnerships and missions’ exposure in Nakuru, Meru, Nyeri and Samburu.
LIFE Ministry Kenya is looking forward to building 100,000 Multiplying Disciples by the year 2025. We believe that these New Staff together with a network of volunteers and partners will contribute greatly to the achievement of this goal. They will also grow into leaders, who impact our society and become a blessing to the church locally and beyond our borders.
