Ignite is a movement of young professionals under LIFE Ministry Kenya that seeks to:
1. Challenge young professionals to develop their walk with the Lord Jesus as well as excel in the market place.
2. Reach out to those young professionals who do not know Jesus with the gospel through various avenues like monthly forums, out reach events and careers talks.
To achieve its objective the movement runs a discipleship program. The program is 14 weeks which recruits the young professionals to the vision. The program is planned to respond to the issues facing young professionals in market place. The built around three pillars, Faith and Work, Life of a Christian Professional and finally Ministry in the Market Place. Young professionals are grouped into small groups that connect on a weekly basis and connect monthly with other small groups from other centres.
Through the movement we hope to see the see transformation in the market place one professional at a time.
We realize that campus finalist are candidates to the movement and we also prepare them during their final year on how to be better equipped for the market place. So far we have prepared about 50 young doctors who are awaiting to go for internship in centres across the country.
